What Does MagSafe-Compatible Really Mean?
How the built-in magnet ring works with snap-on chargers, car mounts and card wallets.

The magnet ring
A MagSafe-compatible case has a ring of magnets built into the back. Magnetic accessories - chargers, wallets, car mounts, stands - snap onto that ring and stay aligned instead of sliding around.
What it is not
MagSafe is Apple's name for its magnetic accessory system. Our cases are MagSafe-compatible: they work with magnetic accessories, but they are not made by Apple and we are not affiliated with Apple.
Do you need it?
It is worth having if you use a magnetic car mount, a snap-on wallet, or a magnetic wireless charger. If you only ever charge with a cable, a standard case is fine.
Android phones
Most Android phones do not have built-in magnets, so a MagSafe-compatible case is what adds the magnet ring. Check the product page for which models we list.
